Dewan Group has made its move to the new business arena 'cement Sector' in May, 2004 by acquiring the management of both Dewan Cement Limited and Dewan Hattar Limited. Both the companies were operating under the same management.

Plant of Dewan Hattar cement is located at Hattar, Dist. Haripur, NWFP. The rated capacity of Dewan Hattar cement ltd is 567,00 tons per year. Dewan Hattar Has started its production from January 2002 to cater the market in the North Zone of Pakistan.

The company has planned to extend its production by installing line2, which is under construction. It will have a capacity of 1800 tons per day. The company is listed in Karachi and Islamabad Stock Exchanges.
